London’s Pretty Cool…
Brought to you by Briggsy
Episode 18: Violet Bruneel and Lola Hayman of Thunder
Queens
Erin and Patrick were able to catch up with up-and-coming
two-piece band Thunder Queens before their EP release show on
January 25th.
Thunder Queens is a punk rock / surfy grunge band from London,
Ontario consisting of two preteens that will make you insecure
about your own musical abilities.
Thunder Queens was created after Lola and Violet were in the
same band for London Girls Rock Camp. They decided they really
enjoyed playing together and started practice outside of the week
of camp, and Thunder Queens was born.
Thunder Queens has the support of the entire music community
in London, and are always the first to thank those who helped them
get where they are today so quickly.
Patrick also took to the crowd and was able to speak to those
who have been supporting Thunder Queens from the start, incurring
interviews with Jeremy Bruneel, Adam Sturgeon, Alayna Hryclik, and
Eric Longtin
Thunder Queens debut release was recorded at Sugar Shack and
is released through Yeah Right Records.
